Tout élève doit avoir à la sortie de l'école un niveau minimal en anglais.
Notre travail consiste à l'amener au maximum de son potentiel.

L'objectif principal est de communiquer et met en oeuvre les 4 aptitudes :
  • 1 compréhension de l'oral
  • 2 expression orale
  • 3 compréhension de l'écrit
  • 4 expression écrite

  • 550 on TIPC, TOEFLitp or test for Admis Direct
  • 72 on TOEFLibt
  • 785 on TOEIC

MODULE 1

TANDEM in ENGLISH and FRENCH

This class is a conversation class where Francophone students pair up with Anglophone students. Students develop intercultural and cross-cultural skills, learn about local, national and global cultures and reflect on their cultural experiences.

The themes are provided in advance and the participants are requested to come prepared to exchange on a given subject in both languages.

Assessment is based on attendance, quality of interaction, one written report, and one oral presentation and amounts to 2 ECTS per semester.

Places are limited and will depend on the number of exchange students who sign up for the class in the beginning of the semester.
Priority is given to year 4 students in the first semester.

MODULE 2 (not available in 17/18)

Folk Music from the British Isles

Like to sing? Play an instrument? In this class, we will be learning to play and sing traditional music from Ireland, Scotland and England. And singing is one of the best ways to improve your pronunciation! Learn the culture through the lyrics and the stories behind the songs.

Maximum class size : 16
Restricted to students 3rd year students as the class runs for two semesters (semesters 5 and 6)
